Amanda Nguyen, founder of an advertising agency, was traveling in Mexico with friends when they felt like playing volleyball. There was just one problem: they didn’t have a net. So the group improvised, using a bridge on the property as a substitute divider. “Instead of hitting the ball over a net, we hit it toward the bridge and let it bounce back,” Nguyen recalls. “It was incredibly fun.” At the time, Nguyen didn’t realize it, but this experience would eventually lead to th
